Congratulations on considering attending one of our Home Buyer Classes! Our seminars are a great way to get exposed to a lot of information about residential real estate in a short period of time.

Even if you have owned a home before, you still benefit by attending because reviewing what you already know is far different than getting the meat and potaotes information we share about the business, how transactions really work and current trends in the Puget Sound real estate market. More importantly, you may still qualify for the below-market State Bond financing available to first-time home buyers through the House Key Loan program.

Why would you want to attend one of our classes? Well, it’s a good way to get started with the process of looking for a home. We have a lot of handouts in addition to the information we cover in the class—we just don’t stand up there and talk. It’s also a good time to ask questions about everything from credit reports, how the inspection process works or how multiple offer situations are handled. Understand what sellers are really looking for in a buyer.

By attending our class you also receive a Certificate of Completion that you can use to present when you make offers to purchase. Sellers are often just as anxious about selling as you are about buying. By showing a seller that you’ve taken the time to educate yourself with the home buying process, you make a seller feel more comfortable and confident that you are ready to move forward with the purchase.

This may give you an edge at some point in a transaction and in today’s hot market there’s a good chance you’ll need it. That’s why we do this—to give you the best chance to get what you want.
